Welcome to El Oeste, a meat lover's paradise nestled in the heart of Guaymas, Mexico, specifically at Gaspar Zaragoza Iberri 78, Petrolera. Renowned for its exquisite cuts of beef and authentic Western ambience, this hidden gem promises a dining experience that is both flavorful and unique.
As you step inside, be prepared for a visually striking atmosphere. The interior decor is decidedly rustic, adorned with an impressive collection of hunting trophies from across North America and beyond. This might not be for the faint-hearted or avid animal lovers, as the walls echo tales of the wild with moose, elk, and more elegantly displayed. The dim lighting adds to the authentic Western feel, creating an ambiance that is both cozy and intriguing.
El Oeste prides itself on serving premium quality steaks, a sentiment echoed by numerous patrons. From juicy T-bones cooked to perfection to the unique sauces that elevate each dish, your taste buds are in for a treat. Pricy but fabulous meal. The decor isn't for the week or animal lovers. Many hunting prices hanging from the walls. Very dim environment.

Food was DELIGHTFUL! The place is small. Two sections: a main dinning area and an enclosed patio with a view up to the Main Street. The walls are covered in animal trophies including wild cats, moose, elk, deer and cattle. The food had a great presentation with garnishes that added a special touch. The salad bar was included in the meal. Highly recommend.

The decor is very authentic western-style. They have a collection of trophy animals from Mexico, Canada, the US and Africa. The steaks are very good and the salad bar is very unusual, with blanched cauliflower and broccoli among other tasty Mainstays.
